The curtain will go up on the fifth edition of the International Free and Open Source Conference – Swatantra 2014 (http://icfoss.in/fs2014/ ) here on December 18, providing a platform for FOSS advocates to discuss and define the roadmap for the use of Free Software across the world. The three-day conference will begin with a keynote address by Richard Stallman, Director, Free Software Foundation, USA, on the topic “Free Software and Beyond”. Dr. Stallman is scheduled to interact with the audience after his lecture. Swatantra 2014 is organised by the International Centre for Free and Open Source Software (ICFOSS).
