Kozhikode: A three-day capacity building programme in energy efficiency management in industries, organised by the New Delhi-based International Resources Group Systems and the Energy Management Centre, attached to the Department of Power, concluded here on Saturday.

The World Bank and the Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA), under the Union Ministry of Non-Conventional Energy, had sponsored the programme, the aim of which was to create awareness among industries about energy conservation and funds made available to them for implementing provisions enshrined in the Energy Conservation Act.

This was the third in a series of programmes conducted in the State, after the events in Thiruvananthapuram and Kochi.
