District school arts festival concludes today

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Thiruvananthapuram south sub-district took the lead at the revenue district school arts festival, being held at the Cotton Hill Girls' High School here, on Friday. The festival will conclude on Saturday.

When the results of 55 competition events were declared, the south sub-district scored 408 points.

The north sub-district was at the second place, with 379 points, while Neyyattinkara sub-district stood third, with 359 points. Nedumangad's tally stood at 298 points.

Competition events on Friday included mono-act, mimicry, drama and Kathaprasangam.
