The KSBC had 305 IMFL outlets in the State against 46 owned by the Consumerfed. While the Consumerfed had, in their accounts, shown a sum of more than Rs. 1 crore as income received by way of incentives from the IMFL manufacturers, the KSBC was silent about such a source of income. Mr. Chandrachoodan said that when the volume of business handled by the KSBC was taken into consideration, the income that could be received by it through incentives would come to around Rs. 8.25 crores a year.
