Killed in accident

Thiruvananthapuram: Lal Pramod, 33, a resident of Kattakkada, was killed when the scooter on which he was travelling, collided with a jeep near Thoongampara on Monday afternoon. The body has been kept in the mortuary of Medical College Hospital. - Staff Reporter

Plastic surgery camp

Thiruvananthapuram: A two-week plastic surgery camp will be held at the Sree Uthradom Thirunal Hospital from June 27. C. Thomas, surgeon and Head of Plastic and Reconstruction Surgery Service, Ministry of Health, Sultanate of Oman, will lead the camp. Thiruvananthapuram: The Punjab and Sind Bank will accept tax payments from taxpayers up to 5 p.m. on June 15. To facilitate the process, the bank has set up special counters in its branches. Workers' protest

Thiruvananthapuram: The Hindustan Latex Labour Union today staged a picketing in front of the company protesting an alleged decision by the management to shift the packing work of products meant for exports to export zone in Kochi.
