Train diversion on January 30

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Train services in the Kayamkulam-Kottayam-Ernakulam section will be suspended from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on January 30 to take up urgent engineering work as part of doubling of the stretch.

According to a Railway release, six pairs of trains from the Ernakulam side would be diverted via Alappuzha during the period.

These trains include Kerala Express, Bangalore-Kayamkulam Express, Parusuram Express, Sabari Express, Gurudev Express and Korba-Thiruvananthapuram Express.

The Kerala Express bound for New Delhi and Kanyakumari-Mumbai Express will be diverted via Alappuzha, the release said.
