State steals the limelight at tourism fair

Kerala stole the limelight at the just concluded ITB 2007 that was marked by an overwhelming presence of India, partner country.

The State once again opened its treasure trove of attractions and products to Germany, at its pavilion designed in the traditional Kerala style.

The high-level Kerala delegation to the ITB was lead by Minister for Tourism Kodiyeri Balakrishnan. Besides him, the delegation comprised Secretary Tourism V. Venu; Director Tourism Sanjay M. Kaul; Chairman of Kerala Tourism Development Corporation (KTDC) Cherian Philip; and Managing Director, KTDC, K.G. Mohanlal.

The travel trade industry from the State was also well represented and revealed the significance attached to the German market.
