KOTTAYAM: The Socialist Kerala Congress, a splinter group of the former Kerala Congress (S) that has since merged with the Kerala Congress (M), will merge with the M.P. Veerendrakumar-led Janata Dal (S).Sunny Thomas, president, and Anil Kattakkada, general secretary, of the party said smaller parties were finding it difficult to make effective interventions in people's problems.
The merger meet would be held at Kottayam on April 9. Mr. Veerendrakumar would preside over the function, they said.
