KOTTAYAM: The School of International Relations and Politics (SIRP) of Mahatma Gandhi University has invited applications for the vacancies of two project fellows under the University Grants Commission Major Research Projects for the 11th Plan.

The project ‘Health Environment and Human Security: Implications of Pesticide Use in Kerala’ will be led by K.M. Seethi as Principal Investigator (PI) and the project on ‘Energy Security in India: Problems and Prospects of Nuclear Energy’ will be led by C. Vinodan as PI.

Candidates below 40 years of age with MA in the subject concerned or related subjects, with at least 55 per cent marks (50 per cent for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes), and M.Phil. or NET can apply.

Research experience

Research experience in concerned area with computer knowledge is desirable. Application in plain paper must reach the PI on or before January 30.

Interview will be held on February 5.
