MYL to launch stir on July 12

KOZHIKODE: The State Muslim Youth League (MYL) has decided to launch agitations against the Left Democratic Front (LDF) Government.

The first of the agitations will begin on July 12, with activists taking out demonstrations to the taluk offices.

Youth League president K.M. Shaji and general secretary N. Shamsudheen said: “We have been keeping quiet the past one year watching the performance of LDF Government. Now, we have to protest as it is clear that the Government is following anti-people and anti-minority policies.” The Youth League leaders dismissed the Chief Minister’s activities in Munnar where he claimed to have recovered land encroached by the Tatas as a farce aimed at deflecting attention from the Government’s failure.
