LJP to intensify its struggle

KOTTAYAM: The Lok Jansakthi Party (LJP) will intensify its struggle for implementation of the Sachar Committee report, party State president V. Salim Malik has said. A meeting of the State committee held here with president Ram Vilas Paswan on the chair on Saturday, called for extending reservation benefits to Dalit Christians and Dalit Muslim communities, he said.

The meeting elected a 16-member State committee.

G. Venugopal is the secretary general, and Rema George is the chairperson of the parliamentary board and president of the women’s cell. The meeting also elected three vice-presidents, four general secretaries and two secretaries.
