For better public role in law-making

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Congress Legislature Party (CLP) proposes to form a bank of questions to be raised in the Assembly with inputs from the public.

CLP secretary K.C. Joseph said here on Saturday that the party also proposed to ensure public participation in identifying issues of public importance to be raised as submissions also.

At present, the members raised such issues on the basis of matters coming to their attention directly or through memorandums from the people.

Now, the public could write to the office of the legislature party at Room Number OB 20, MLA Hostel, Thiruvananthapuram, suggesting the questions and the issues to be raised in the Assembly.
