KOCHI: The Cochin Refineries Evictees’ Association will stage a 12-hour hunger strike from 7 a.m. on Monday, demanding redress of their grievances. The association’s convenor, A.N. Muralidharan, said though the authorities had promised the evictees identity cards, not even a small section of them had been covered under the scheme. The association would soon launch an indefinite agitation demanding employment, he said. — Staff Reporter
