KOCHI: The Kerala High Court on Monday allowed a writ petition filed by the general secretary of the Kerala Health Research and Welfare Society Employees Federation (CITU) seeking an order that the workmen of the society had the right to continue in employment till the age of 58.
The court annulled an award of the Labour Court to the extent that the Model Standing Orders were not applicable to the management of the society and the workmen could continue in service only till the age of 55.
