Cusat to host interactive programme

KOCHI: Ramachandran Thekkedath, Vice-Chancellor of the Cochin University of Science and Technology, will inaugurate a public lecture and interactive programme involving doctors and scientists organised by the Centre for Neuroscience at the Department of Bio Technology on March 19.

Brain Awareness Week

An official release said that the programme is being held in connection with World Brain Awareness Week 2010.

V.R. Krishna Iyer, former Supreme Court judge; M.V. Pylee, former Vice-Chancellor of Cusat; and Philip Augustine, renowned physician and managing director of Lakeshore Hospital will be honoured on the occasion, according to C. S. Paulose, Director, Centre for Neuroscience, Department of Biotechnology.
