Civil Services winners felicitated

Thiruvananthapuram: Students from Kerala who have won the All-India Civil Services Examinations 2006 were felicitated at a function held here on Wednesday. Minister for Education M.A. Baby inaugurated the function organised under the auspices of the Kerala State Civil Service Academy set up by the State-owned Centre for Continuing Education. He urged the new incumbents to the civil services to uphold the humanitarian principles in their official careers.

MLA V. Sivankutty, the former Chief Secretary D. Babu Paul, former UN Ambassador T.P. Sreenivasan and academy director Mohan Abraham spoke. The Civil Services Examination winners felicitated at the function included N. Prasanth (fourth rank), R. Vyasan (sixth rank), Anish Rajan (seventh rank), Remya Mohan (17th rank), Shainamol (20th rank), Deepan Bhadran (93rd rank), Daphne Mary John (99th rank), Veni Raj (180th rank), C.N. Bipin (220th rank), R. Rahul (310th rank), Neethu Kamal (396th rank) and Sayeed Rashid (407th rank).
