Exams rescheduled: The following examinations conducted by the University of Kerala have been re-schedule owing to Kerala University youth festival: second year examinations of five-year LLB (1998 scheme) scheduled for February 2, 4 and 6 have been postponed to February 11, 13 and 16 respectively; the third year BHMS (2003 scheme) exams scheduled for February 2 and 4 have been postponed to February 9 and 11; final year BHMS (new scheme) examinations to be held on February 3 and 5 have been rescheduled to February 25 and 27; final year BHMS (old scheme) examinations scheduled on February 3 and 5 will be held on February 16 and 18 respectively; and first year BPharm regular examinations scheduled on February 2, 4, 6 and 9 will be held on February 9, 11, 3 and 16 respectively. There are no changes in the examination centres.

B.A. exam: Students who have opted Government Sanskrit College as the examination centre for the B.A. second year part-two supplementary examination beginning on January 28 should collect their hall tickets from Sanskrit College and write the examination at Thiruvananthapuram University College.

B.Com exam: Male students who have opted Government Sanskrit College as the examination centre for the first and second year B.Com examinations of the Kerala University beginning on January 28 and whose names begin with letters A to M should appear for the examination at Thiruvananthapuram University College. Meanwhile, girl students with names beginning with letters A to M should appear for the examinations at Neeramankara NSS College. Male students with names beginning with letters N to Z should write the examination at Thumba St. Xavier’s College while girl students should appear for the examinations at Thiruvananthapuram Government Women’s College. Hall tickets will be available at the respective examination centres.

BDS: University of Kerala has invited applications from first year BDS students who wish to seek transfer from their present dental college to another college under the university for second year classes. Transfer is permitted only between those colleges where students will not have a change in fee structure. The application should be accompanied by originals of eligibility certificate and mark list. Students belonging to the Schedule Castes / Schedule Tribes category should also attach certificates proving their caste. The form no. 52 available on the university web site >www.keralauniversity.edu should also be filled and attached with the application. The application should be attested by the college principal. Kerala University challan for Rs.100 (Rs.110 in case of SBT/SBI/DCB DD) processing fee should also be attached. The application should be addressed to Registrar, University of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram- 34. Last date is February 7.

MD/MS exam results: The results of MD/MS PG Diploma (medicine) examinations held in December 2008 have been published.

M.A. Hindi rank: Shamna S.N. (Regn. no. 60595) has bagged the first rank for M.A. Hindi (distance education) examination held in 2007.
