LL.B./IDE examinations: The second year LL.B. (3 year), fourth year LL.B. (5 year) examinations scheduled on August 8 will now be held on September 10. The final M.A. M.Sc., M.Com. Examinations of the IDE will be held on September 11.
M.Sc. Examinations: Second semester M.Sc. examinations originally scheduled on August 7 and postponed to August 13 will now be held on August 18.
LL.B. Examinations: Applications for the fourth semester LL.B. (5 year) examinations beginning September 18 can be submitted without fine till August 20, with a fine of Rs.50 till August 22 and with a fine of Rs.250 till August 24.
B.Sc.: The part two additional language paper II Latin examinations of the second semester B.Sc. Biotechnology (restructured) course originally scheduled on June 13, 2007 and later cancelled will now be held from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. on August 22.
M.Sc. Environmental Science: The practical of the second semester M.Sc. Environmental Science examinations will be held on August 16, 17, 20 and 21 at the All Saints College, Thiruvananthapuram and at the St. John’s College, Anchal.
BA Mass Communication: The viva voce of the fourth semester B.A. Mass Communication and Video Production (restructured) examinations scheduled on August 9 and 10 will now be held on August 13 and 14 at the Mar Ivanios College, Thiruvananthapuram.
Hindi viva: The viva voce of the M.A. Hindi (annual scheme, mercy chance) examinations scheduled on August 8 will now be held from 10 a.m. on August 23 at the Department of Hindi, University College, Thiruvananthapuram.
History viva: The viva voce of the fourth semester M.A. History examinations held in June, 2007 will be conducted from August 16 to 23 at the University College, Thiruvananthapuram. Students who wrote the examinations at VTM NSS College, Dhanuvachapuram, The Government College, Nedumangad, S.N. College, Kollam, Government Women’s college, Thiruvananthapuram, S.N. College, Chempazhanthi, University College, Thiruvananthapuram and at the Iqbal College, Peringamala, should report for the viva at 9.30 a.m. on August 16, 17, 18, 20, 21, 22 and 23 respectively.
Music practical: The practical second semester M.A. Music examinations will be held from 9.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. on August 13 at the Government Women’s College, Thiruvananthapuram.
SC/ST vacancy: There are a few vacancies in the SC/ST category for the M.A. Hindi (credit and semester) programme at the Department of Hindi for the year 2007-08. Those who wrote the PG Entrance examinations conducted by the University and wish to get admission should contact the Head of the Department at 11 a.m. on August 17. UIT Class: The first semester BB.A., B.Sc. Computer Science classes will begin at the UIT Neyyattinkara on August 14.
Book Release: The book ‘Kerala Lifestyle for Modern Youth’ authored by C.V. Jayamani, former Finance Officer of the Kerala University will be released at the International Centre for Kerala Studies at 10.30 a.m. on August 14. A one-day seminar will also be held on the occasion.
