A skill development programme in net-making and mending began at the Central Institute of Fisheries Technology. K.J. Maxi, MLA, inaugurated the programme organised by the Fishing Technology Division of the institute. C.N. Ravisankar, director of the institute; Leela Edwin, head of the department of the fishing technology division; A.K. Mohanty, head of the EIS division and Saly N. Thomas, principal scientist of the institute, spoke.
