KERALA

Boon for job-seekers

Bringing cheers to thousands of job hunters in the State, the Kerala State IT Mission has launched a web site with the objective of bridging the gap between employers and job-seekers.

The site >www.keralatalent.gov.in will serve as a meeting ground for prospective employers and employees by providing them a variety of services free of cost.

Besides the State government, the site has TMI First, Infopark, IIITM-K and Technopark as its partners.

Job-seekers from across the State, irrespective of their qualifications, can register on the site free and make themselves available for various jobs on offer.

The site allows the job hunters to create and post their resume and also edit them periodically.

Besides, they can access information on the latest trends in the job markets and the requirements of various industries.

There are articles detailing the pros and cons of various careers and the skill sets required for various jobs.

Colleges will be able to get in touch with their alumni who have been registered with the web site.
