Air passengers hit

Passengers continued to be affected on Wednesday owing to the cancellation of Saudi Arabian Airlines flights from the Calicut International Airport, Karipur, on Sunday and Monday. As many as 40 passengers scheduled to go to Saudi Arabia were shifted to nearby hotels as the airline could not clear the backlog. The services were cancelled due to technical problems. Airport sources said the airline had made arrangements to clear the backlog. — Staff Reporter
