Ahamed seeks help for haemophilia patients

Kozhikode: Minister of State for External Affairs E. Ahamed, on Sunday, called for concerted efforts by officials and members of social and voluntary organisations to make available treatment facilities for haemophilia patients.

He was inaugurating a family meeting of the Haemophilia Society’s Kozhikode chapter here organised jointly with the Department of Physiotherapy, AWH Special College. The meeting demanded starting an exclusive ward and comprehensive treatment facilities for the patients at the Government Medical College Hospital here without any delay.

Various programmes, including a medical camp, a physiotherapy workshop and awareness classes were organised at the family meeting.

Nearly 250 chapter members attended the family meeting.
