Whereabouts of Rajesh Gowda not known

Heating, ventilation and airconditioning (HVAC) engineer Rajesh Gowda (26) of Kodimbala near Kadaba in Puttur taluk who has been stranded in Sana’a in Yemen has gone incommunicado since Friday morning, leaving the family in tension.

Mr. Rajesh informed the family in the morning that Indians had received a message saying that they should come to the Indian Embassy office in Yemen.

The last call from Mr. Gowda received from the vicinity of the Embassy to the family said the Embassy was attempting to take them to an African country but no details were given.

A worried Radhakrishna Nandila, brother-in-law of Mr. Gowda in Puttur, said the family was awaiting information on Mr. Gowda.
