The Rathabeedi Geleyaru will organise the Murari–Kedlaya Theatre Fest here from February 18 to 20. The fest is held in memory of writers N. Murari Ballal and K.S. Kedlaya
In a release issued here, Rathabeedi Geleyaru president H. Muralidhar Upadhya said a play each would be staged at 7 p.m. on all three days of the fest to be held at the Muddanna Mantapa on MGM College campus.
The fest will begin with the staging of the play Kulam by Samudaya troupe of Kundapur on Saturday. The Sangam Kalavider from Manipal will stage the play Karnabhara on February 19. The fest will end with the staging of the play Seere by Aata Maata cultural organisation from Dharwad.
President of Samudaya, Kundapur, K. Prabhakaran will inaugurate the fest.
