A gang broke into a temple and decamped with silver items at Malyady in Thekkatte village of Kundapur taluk.
According to the police, the gang broke into the Sri Mahadevi Nandikeshwara Temple between 7 p.m. on April 10 and 7 a.m. on April 11. The items stolen included a 1.5 kg silver prabhavali and a silver tumbler. The value of the items stolen had been estimated at Rs. 43,000. A case has been registered at the Kota police station. Investigation is on, the police said.
