MYSORE: Get mesmerized by these winged jewels. And they are as fragile as they are beautiful and come in all colours and varied patterns. Or hold your breath and delve deep into the frozen world of Antarctica. For Mysore Amateur Naturalists (MAN) and the Regional Museum of Natural History (RMNH) have organised two special shows at the RMNH auditorium, Siddarthanagar, to mark World Environment Day on Sunday. Kishen Das, a young lepidopterist who is studying the migration of butterflies in peninsular India, will present a slide show titled "The Winged Jewels" at 5 p.m. which will be followed by a film show titled "Life in the Freezer" presented by Sir David Attenborough at 7 p.m.
