‘Over 25,000 will take part in Feb. 4 rally’

BJP district unit president K.S. Naveen has informed that more than 25,000 workers and supporters from Chitradurga would take part in the Parivarthana Yatra organised on February 4 at Bengaluru. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the rally.

Speaking to reporters here on Friday, he informed that 400 buses have been arranged to pick up and drop the party workers and supporters in the district.

Detailing about the rallies planned by the BJP in the next two months, he informed that a farmers’ convention has been organised on February 27 to mark birthday of B.S. Yeddyurappa, Scheduled Tribes convention on March 11, Scheduled Castes convention on February 20 at Haveri, a women’s convention on February 24 at Shivamogga, Yadava convention on March 13 at Tumakuru and a slum dwellers’ convention in Bengaluru on March 15, he added.
