Bangalore: Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa has said that his son B.Y. Raghavendra will not contest the Lok Sabha polls, dispelling rumours about his son being a ticket aspirant for the Shimoga constituency.

Speaking on the sidelines after inaugurating the Karnataka Institute of Diabetology here on Wednesday, the Chief Minister said he did not believe in “dynasty rule where fathers and sons, and husbands and wives are given ticket”.
