‘Agri Unifest’ from Thursday

BANGALORE: University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore, will host “Agri Unifest”, a five-day national inter-agricultural universities’ youth festival, from February 5.

More than 2,000 students from 47 agricultural universities of the country will exhibit their skills in performance and fine arts at the cultural extravaganza, which is promoted by Indian Council of Agricultural Research.

The intention of the event is to promote national integrity and harmony by creating awareness about the country’s rich cultural diversity.The event will be inaugurated by Agriculture Minister S.A. Ravindranath on the GKVK campus of the university.
