Kunti, a 46-year-old elephant, at Sakrebailu elephant camp near here, gave birth to a male calf on Wednesday night.
The total number of elephants in the camp has now risen to 23. Kunti was captured in Hassan district in 2014 and was later shifted to the Sakrebailu camp where she was tamed. In January 2015, Kunti had given birth to a female calf.
