Power shutdown

Bangalore Electricity Supply Company has informed that due to emergency maintenance works, there will be no power supply on Thursday between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. in the following areas: Pantharapalya, University Circle, ITI Layout, Guruvarabahuma Layout, and R.R Nagar.

Music competition

To mark the occasion of Kannada Rajyotsava, Sri Ranga Sangeetha Kalakshetra will conduct a competition in Kannada kritis, devaranamas, vachanas, patriotic and folk songs on November 19. There will be no entry fee for senior citizens and for the disabled. For details, call 9880380858.

Free training

Canara Bank Institute of Information Technology (CBIIT) will conduct a three-month free training programme in software applications from December 8. Transport adalat
