Yeddyurappa to inaugurate golden jubilee function of bank

Mysore: Mysore Merchants’ Co-operative Bank Limited, which was established on July 2, 1959, will celebrate its Golden Jubilee at Golden Jubilee Indoor Sports Complex of the National Institute of Engineering on October 4. Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa will inaugurate the celebrations. Leader of the Opposition in Legislative Assembly Siddarmaiah will release a souvenir. Minister for Cooperation Lakshman S. Savadi will launch the bank website. Minister for Rural Development and Panchayat Raj and district in-charge Shobha Karandlaje, Chairman of the Karnataka Housing Board G.T. Deve Gowda, and president of the Federation of Town Cooperative Banks H.K. Patil will be chief guests on the occasion, said president of the bank C.V. Somashekar.

Former presidents of Mysore Merchants’ Co-operative Bank Limited, including B. Ramanna, former directors and present directors of the bank will be felicitated.
