Belgaum: The Central Post-Graduation Admission Committee (CPAC) at Visvesvaraya Technological University organised counselling for 1,600 candidates with ranks from 3,701 to 5,300 for admission to MBA course in 129 colleges in the State on Saturday. Counselling was held simultaneously in Belgaum and Bangalore through video-conferencing. As many as 1,232 candidates attended counselling in Bangalore and 367 in Belgaum and confirmed their seats. According to VTU Registrar M.S. Shivakumar, counselling for ranks from 5,301 to 6,900 would be held on Sunday. Counselling was held for admission to M.E., M.Tech., M.Arch. courses on Saturday.
