Traffic to be diverted for track doubling work

MYSORE: The one-way rule has been introduced at a few sections in view of the track doubling work being taken up on the Mysore-Bangalore section from the city end. Civil works to widen the railway bridge has been initiated at Yadavgiri bridge no. 752 A, following which the stretch from Jawa Factory to Highway Circle has been declared as a one-way.

The movement of vehicles from Highway Circle towards Jawa Factor has been banned and all motorists will have to take the route via the Deaf and Dumb School and Medarakeri, to reach the Akashvani Circle.

Similarly, the authorities have taken up the widening of bridge no. 747 A, near Cauvery Nagar.

Not permitted

Owing to the proposed work at the bridge, motorists have been prohibited from using the bridge until the civil works are complete.

Route to take

Vehicles to Cauvery Nagar must proceed via Shivarathreeshwara Nagar and Ring Road, via Belwatha.
