A gang of persons broke into a temple and decamped with idols with silver masks and money kept in “hundi” boxes at Puttur here.
According to the police, the gang broke into the Sri Lakshmi Venkatesh Temple on Wednesday night. A case had been registered at Udupi Town Police Station and investigation is on.
