Special train between Howrah and Mysore

BANGALORE: A weekly special train will be run between Howrah and Mysore till March 27.

According to a press release from the South Western Railway, the train will Howrah on Friday at 4.10 p.m. and reach Bangalore City at 3.10 a.m. on Sunday and leave Bangalore at 3.50 a.m. and reach Mysore at 7.40 a.m. the same day.

In the return direction, the train will leave Mysore on Sunday at 8.45 p.m. and reach Bangalore City at 12.05 a.m. on Monday and leave the city at 12.15 a.m. and reach Howrah on Tuesday at 4.20 p.m.

The train from Howrah will run via Kharagpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jaipur-Keonjhar Road, Bhubaneshwar, Khurda Road, Berhampur, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Duvvada, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijayawada, Ongole, Nellur, Gudur, Renigunta, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Kuppam, Bangarpet, Whitefield, Krishnarajapuram, Bangalore Cantonment, Bangalore City, and Mandya.

The train will have a two two-tier AC coaches, two three-tier AC coaches, nine three-tier second class sleeper coaches, one general second class coach and two second class-cum-luggage vans, the release added.
