Something tasty in town

Bangalore: There is something tasty in town. Gambaz Foods International has launched Prawnto, a seafood chain dishing out prawn specialities in a variety of sauces. Prawnto describes itself as a “tasteraunt”, which is a “combination of a kiosk and a café”.

V. Balasubramanium, director of operations, said, “Being in the business of exporting prawns for over 15 years, we decided to deliver international quality prawns at local prices to Indian consumers.”

He added that with professional chefs, including renowned chef Richard Graham working with them, they were able to blend the freshest ingredients with the latest technology in pre-preparation to appeal to the tastes of the Indian market. Prawnto is a prawn farmers’ initiative in collaboration with the National Fisheries Development Board, which is a Government of India undertaking. Prawnto has two outlets in the city — at Total Mall on HAL Airport Road and outside Spencer’s on Mosque Road.
