Kannada activists to participate in

a rally on

December 10



GULBARGA: Members of the Kannada Sena on Thursday criticised the State and Union governments for their alleged indifferent attitude towards genuine demands of people of Hyderabad-Karnataka region, including amendment to the Article 371 of the Constitution and providing reservation to Kannadigas in employment according to recommendations of the Sarojini Mahishi report and implementation of recommendations of the Nanjundappa Committee report. President of the sena Shivasharanappa Khanadal told presspersons here that in protest against the “ignorant” attitude of the governments, the sena would observe Gulbarga bandh on December 10, and hold protests and dharnas throughout the State till December 28.

Mr. Khanadal said senior Kannada activists including Vatal Nagaraj, Sa.Ra. Govind, Prabhakar Reddy and State unit president of the sena K.R. Kumar would participate in a rally to be organised here on December 10.
