KOLAR: A rousing reception was accorded here on Tuesday to Sunil Jairaj from Kolar who successfully participated in the 24,000-km run across the globe in 95 days last year.

The run was organised by Blue Planet Foundation of the U.S. with support from the United Nations Organisation to create awareness on the importance of water. Sunil Jairaj, who is living in the U.S. to pursue his higher studies, was the only person to represent India in the run.
