Record milk collection by KMF

Bangalore: The Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) procured 40.02 lakh litres of milk on June 22, which is a record collection by KMF.

According to a release by the federation, June 18 recorded a procurement of 35.22 lakh litres, which has surpassed earlier records of KMF. During 2008, milk procurement was maintained at an average 34.36 lakh litres a day, out of which 22.28 lakh litres was sold in liquid form.
