GULBARGA: A six-day exhibition of photography of four amateur photographers from Gulbarga city would be held at Sri Aurobindo Ashram Art Gallery at Puducherry from November 22.

The Gulbarga-based Chaitannyamayi Art Gallery, which is sponsoring the exhibition, will display 80 photographs of M.D. Kololgi, a dentist, M.D. Minajigi, a paediatrician, A.S. Patil, an artist, and Narayan Joshi, freelance journalist and photographer.

The exhibition will feature Dr. Kololgi’s recent photographs of his visit to Nepal. Dr Minajigi’s specialisation is folk art, architecture and natural scenery.

Mr. Patil, who has set up Chaitannyamayi Art Gallery to give exposure to budding artists, has organised several photo exhibitions. Mr. Narayan Joshi’s photographs and articles on history and art have been published in many newspapers.

This is the fourth exhibition in Puducherry being organised by Chaitannyamayi Art Gallery. The first two were solo painting shows of Mr. Patil and the third was a group show of paintings on the theme of Shivasharana and their Vachanas.
