He said that besides cultural programmes, Aromas of Karnataka – The Food Utsava and Rangarang – The Rangoli Utsava would be the other attractions at the utsava. Renowned percussionist Sivamani said: “I have seen the evolution of the Bengaluru Ganesh Utsava through the years of my association with it. Performing at the utsava is a sheer honour and a pleasure. It is heart-warming and also extremely motivating to see the growing fan base.”

The food utsava will have stalls from six regions of Karnataka serving the most delectable time-honoured dishes.

The stalls would be decorated thematically in keeping with the cultural heritage of each region, Mr. Nandish said.

The sangha is a social service organisation established in 1962 by noted litterateur Ku. Ra. Sitaram Shastri.
