YSR to visit Nandyal, Kurnool on June 12

KURNOOL: The Chief Minister, Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy, will take part in Nagarabata programme at Nandyal and Kurnool on June 12. The Collector, Vikas Raj, and the SP, B. Malla Reddy, held a coordination meeting here on Saturday on the visit of the Chief Minister.

Dr. Reddy is expected to land at Arts College ground at Nandyal around 9.30 a.m. and go round the town taking part in local programmes.

He will inaugurate the Town Hall constructed at a cost of Rs. 1.2 crores, lay the foundation stone for a stadium and inaugurate Rajiv Grihakalpa scheme at Oorumarupuram, 33-kv substation, Municipal park, Mineral water plant and summer storage tank. Before leaving for Kurnool at 2.30 p.m., he will inaugurate the Market Yard at Tekke.

At Kurnool, the Chief Minister will lay the stone for Andhra Pradesh Residential Urdu College, Pipeline works in Kallur, and inaugurate the summer storage tank.

After inaugurating the Rs. 36-lakh pipeline at Garibnagar under City Challenge Fund, he will interact with passengers at Bus Stand, and open the Rajiv Junction at C. Camp and disburse financial aid to youth and members of minority community at Osmania College.

Church inauguration

The Dr. Rajasekhara Reddy will launch the Vijayabhaskar Reddy junction works at the Control room, Science Bhavan at Balbhavan and inaugurate the church.

The Collector said a district-level officer will be posted at every kilometre on the route of Nagarabata programme for coordination. Dr. Rajasekhar Reddy will stay at the guesthouse and leave for Hyderabad the next morning.
