YSR cautions people against Naidu's promises

HYDERABAD, APRIL 24. The former Congress Legsilature Party leader, Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, today cautioned people of Coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema, who are to cast their votes in the second phase of polling on April 26, for 21 Lok Sabha and 147 Assembly seats, to be on guard against the "hitech" promises of the Telugu Desam Party leader, N. Chandrababu Naidu.

In a letter addressed to voters in the two regions, Dr. Reddy warned them that if the TDP was voted back there would be "Jalianwalabagh-like" incidents, a steep hike in power tariff and people's lives would become more difficult.
