Woman from Mumbai rescued in CTF raid

Based on a tip off organised prostitution, the CTF team organised a raid at a house in Sector 5 at Muralinagar in the city and apprehended organisers Y. Ganesh Kumar and G. Venkateswara Rao and also apprehended customer S. Venkateswara Rao and rescued one victim woman belonging to Mumbai.

The CTF team led by ACP I Chittibabu also seized cash Rs. 3,700 from their possession in the raid.

During enquiries, it was revealed that the organisers had brought the victim woman from Mumbai.

The apprehended persons along with seized property have been handed over to SHO, Kancharapalem PS for further investigation.
