Revenue officials on Wednesday seized two tractors carrying soil collected from a local pond at Vellaturu village of G. Konduru mandal in Krishna district.
Responding to a complaint received online from a petitioner, Krishna District Collector B. Lakshmikantam sent a team of Revenue officials to crack down on those transporting soil . He said soil collected from beds of water bodies without permission of authorities was illegal.
