In a development which caught many outsiders by surprise, officials of Telangana Bhavan on Monday lodged an FIR accusing their counterparts at Andhra Pradesh Bhavan of using its RC bungalow in unauthorised manner.

In a press release, Telangana Bhavan said that the RC bungalow which is under the control of Telangana, was being used by Andhra Pradesh officials and it is learnt that certain illegal activities were going on.

It said that the bungalow is earmarked as RC Bungalow and cannot be used for any other purpose.

Since it is located next to Sabari block which houses the suits of Governor, Deputy Chief Minister, Chief Secretary, Director-General of Police and Chief Advisor and the movement of unauthorised persons was becoming a security concern, the entrance was sealed and the building locked to prevent its misuse.

FIR filed

However, certain officials of AP broke open the seal and the lock today. The entire incident was videographed and an FIR filed against the persons concerned for trespassing and entering into a public building illegally, it said.

The erstwhile AP Bhavan premises is now shared by the two States.
