Traffic curbs for President's visit

HYDERABAD Nov. 24. In view of the President, A.P.J. Abdul Kalam's visit to the city, the police have announced traffic restrictions and diversions on November 25 and 26.

According to a press release here, traffic will be stopped or diverted from airport to Raj Bhavan between 9 p.m. and 9.30 p.m. on Monday. Traffic will be stopped or diverted on Tuesday from Raj Bhavan to Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Jubilee Hills, between 9.45 a.m. to 10 a.m. and from the vidya bhavan to Care Hospital between 10.30 a.m. and 10.50 a.m. Between 11.40 a.m. and 12.05 p.m., traffic will be streamlined from the hospital to NIMS and from NIMS to Raj Bhavan between 1.10 p.m. and 1.30 p.m. Restrictions will be enforced from Raj Bhavan to the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology, Tarnaka, between 3.35 p.m. and 4.05 p.m. and from the CCMB to the airport between 5.55 p.m. and 6.20 p.m.

Meanwhile, CARE in a press release said the first indigenous digital cardiac catheterisation lab of the country, to be inaugurated by the President, was developed by CARE Foundation.
