Tight security for Advani's visit

VIJAYAWADA, FEB. 26. Tight security arrangements have made in connection with the Deputy Prime Minister, L. K. Advani's visit to the city on Friday.

Black cat commandos of the NSG and the city police on Thursday conducted a dress rehearsal to ensure foolproof security for Mr. Advani's visit. An Indian Air Force aircraft also conducted an aerial survey of the Indira Gandhi Municipal Corporation Stadium, where a helipad has been built for the landing of Mr. Advani's copter.

The Deputy Prime Minister who will arrive from New Delhi by a special IAF plane at the Gannavaram airport, will fly by a copter to the stadium. From there he will proceed to he Satavahana College to address a meeting of intellectuals at 11 a.m. After the meeting, he will proceed to the State guesthouse for lunch. He will then proceed to Bhimavaram by a copter to address a meeting of party workers.He will return to the Gannavaram airport and fly back to Delhi.
