State signs MoU with US firm Cerner

An MoU was signed between the U.S.-based company, Cerner, and the Department of Health, Medical and Family Welfare here on Tuesday. Cerner will supply Health Information Exchange (HIE) services, to analyse data from the ongoing health programs and provide policy recommendations.

The MoU was signed in the presence of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, who expressed his vision of providing every citizen of Andhra Pradesh access to their health information through digitisation. A Knowledge Command Centre will be established, to help coordinate the procedures. This agreement between the department of HM&FW and Cerner valid for three years.
